Project Aim
The primary goal of this initiative was to donate 10,000 sanitary pads to underprivileged women in the Ahiritola Ghat & connected slum areas. This effort aimed to provide essential menstrual hygiene products to women in need while raising awareness and breaking the stigma surrounding menstruation.
Project Summary
As part of our mission to improve menstrual health awareness, the Rigel Foundation organized a sanitary pad donation drive at Ahiritola Ghat and nearby slum areas. A total of 1,000 sanitary pads were distributed to underprivileged women, ensuring access to basic hygiene essentials.
Our dedicated team worked tirelessly to identify areas with the greatest need, collaborating with local volunteers and community leaders to ensure fair and efficient distribution. Alongside the donation, we conducted awareness sessions on proper menstrual hygiene practices to educate and empower women.
