Rigel Foundation Odisha branch organized a very thoughtful event to tidy up the hill and tourist spot near us that is, ‘ Shikharchandi Hill’ in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The goal was simple: make our favorite hangout spot look spick and span! Volunteers grabbed their gloves and garbage bags,sleeves rolled up got to cleaning.
We kicked off the day with a pep talk, sharing why it’s important to keep our environment clean and how even small actions can make a big difference. It wasn’t all work, though! We turned cleaning into a fun game, challenging each other to see who could collect the most trash. Plus, we blasted some tunes to keep our spirits high as we picked up litter and swept away debris.
By the end of the event, we were proud of what we’d accomplished together. Our hill and tourist spot were sparkling clean, thanks to the hard work and dedication of our volunteers. It just goes to show that when we come together as a team, there’s nothing we can’t achieve!
