In an earnest endeavor to address hunger and provide relief to the underprivileged, Rigel Foundation Odisha branch, organized a heartwarming event titled “HASA” , which means “ to smile” in Odia. This initiative aimed to ease the struggles of poverty-stricken individuals residing near the bustling railway station area.
On the designated day, a dedicated team of volunteers assembled with provisions and warm meals prepared with care. With empathy and sense of consideration, the volunteers swiftly began distributing meals to the waiting crowd. Each box symbolized not just sustenance but also a beacon of hope in the lives of those enduring poverty and hunger. As beneficiaries received nourishment, smiles of gratitude and appreciation illuminated their faces, underscoring the profound impact of this initiative.
Through the collective efforts of the volunteers, the event successfully provided sustenance to 100 impoverished individuals, offering them a temporary respite from the harsh realities of poverty. Beyond the fulfillment of basic needs, “HASA” embodied the spirit of care and compassion, fostering a sense of humanity and support within the community
