Breaking Taboos, Empowering Women
Launched in 2020 by Rigel Foundation, Maa is a movement dedicated to menstrual health, dignity, and empowerment through education and action.
Because every woman deserves dignity—not shame. Because knowledge is power. Because it’s time to talk openly about periods.
In many parts of India, menstruation is still taboo—shrouded in myths and silence. Maa changes that by giving voice to the unspoken, support to the underserved, and confidence to the silenced.
