In a heartwarming display of compassion towards our furry friends, Rigel Foundation Odisha branch orchestrated a remarkable event titled “Pause For Paws.” The primary objective was to improve the well-being and safety of street dogs within our community by providing them with nutritious food and reflective collars.
Volunteers having bags filled with wholesome meals, embarked on a mission to nourish and care for these beloved animals. Setting out to areas where street dogs roamed, they ensured that no wagging tail went hungry, distributing food that would not only satisfy their hunger but also promote their health and vitality.
In addition to nourishment, the event aimed to enhance the safety of street dogs, particularly during nighttime hours. Volunteers fitted each dog with a reflective collar, a simple yet effective measure to increase their visibility and reduce the risk of accidents on busy streets.
