PROJECT AIM:
RAKHIVA 2.0 aimed to celebrate Raksha Bandhan with real-life heroes—police officers, traffic police, fire department personnel, and security workers—by recognizing their selfless dedication and service. The initiative intended to foster community engagement, gratitude, and unity, while uplifting the morale of frontline service providers.
PROJECT SUMMARY:
RAKHIVA 2.0 was conducted across Madhyamgram and New Barrackpore on June 10, 2022, beginning at 10:00 A.M. The event included tying rakhis, presenting gifts, and offering sweets to security and emergency personnel. Despite facing a few logistical setbacks due to volunteer delays, the event progressed smoothly with the active support and cooperation of police officers and fire personnel. It stood out as one of the most heartfelt and spiritually fulfilling events undertaken by the foundation.
