A proud SMI alumnus and a passionate student of Physics, Shounok Guha hails from Kolkata, West Bengal, where he was born and raised. His love for understanding the universe and making physics engaging and accessible to others has guided his academic journey. Driven by the hope for a better world, Shounok brings his analytical mindset and structured approach into everything he does, especially his work at Rigel Foundation.

Role at Rigel Foundation

As Managing Director and Joint CFO, Shounok plays a pivotal role in the management and structuring of Rigel Foundation’s activities. His calm and precise leadership ensures smooth operations and sound financial oversight. In his role as Secretary of Rigel Kolkata, he also helps coordinate projects, communications, and day-to-day functions of the Kolkata branch, applying his quiet yet firm leadership style to build an organization that’s both efficient and impactful.
