In a heartwarming display of compassion and sense of belonging, Rigel Foundation Odisha branch organized an uplifting event titled “Smiles & Stories,” aimed at spreading joy and fostering a sense of affinity among the children of a local Ashram. With a commitment to create lasting memories filled with laughter, music, and a head full of beats.
The event commenced with volunteers arriving at the Ashram with not just food but also an array of engaging activities designed to ignite the children’s spirits. Against the backdrop of cheerful melodies, the atmosphere brimmed with anticipation as children eagerly participated in lively dance sessions, captivating music performances, and spirited games that echoed the room with laughters and joy.
Moreover, volunteers facilitated interactive painting sessions, providing the children to make hand impressions.
Throughout the event, the bonds forged between volunteers and children transcended to be the mere act of selflessness, pure form of love and mutual respect towards each other.
